Initial phone screen, video interview, video portfolio presentation, additional phone calls. All one sided, as even after three sessions and a scheduled fourth that they blew off completely, I didn't get to ask a single question. They claimed to be a reformed organisation, having suffered unhealthy product development processes in the past. They boasted goals aimed at growing their financial/fintech company, but curiously did not seem serious in their follow-through, as their salaries were nearly 50% below the competitive market rate, and their product group given less than minimal headcount to execute the transformation. I say curiously, because a quick look at the reported salaries here on Glassdoor reveal plenty of cash available for certain positions up the ladder. In the end, they offered me a lesser position with even lower pay, but given all of the bright crimson flags, I had no choice but to decline.
