Application
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Twilio (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2020
Interview
A recruiter, Jess reached out to me. She really empowered me to go after this EA role and provided great insight to what that role would entail and how someone would thrive in that position. She also made me feel like a priority and was supportive throughout each step of the process. She went above and beyond to ensure all my questions were answered and was very prompt with any need that came up.

Question 1
Give a 30 second sell/pitch on yourself and your responsibilities in your last role?
Welcome to the Twilio team! We are so glad you had a great experience - and we agree, Jess is fabulous!
Interview
Very detailed and structured interview process. You knew up front what each step of the process would look like, which was super helpful for preparing. First interview (post hr screen) was with the head of the EA org, after that interviews with the exec I’d be supporting and another more technical interview were planned, and finally the culture interview.

Question 1
Give an example of how you’ve used (insert one of twilio’s values) in the past?
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Twilio (London, England) in Feb 2021
Interview
6 interviews each 45 mins long
Had a call with HR who told me what they were looking for, then talked with existing EA who was very friendly and open and honest, spoke to an EA in the US who was lovely felt like I was having a general chat. Talked to Chief Of Staff this was more technical where was asking to give examples, then spoke to another EA and finally a call with Head of HR. Overall a lovely experience a shame I never got the role as believe Twilio is a lovely company and intelligent people who believe in the Magic of Twilio. You can see how fast Twilio are growing and I really see that people will hear about Twilio more and more.
