I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Twilio (London, England) in Sept 2022
Interview
The interview process was relatively ok up until the end.
I apparently successfully performed well across 6 interviews (they will say that it is 2/3 stages but its closer to 6/7 stages).
At the end, I was notified although I was the preferred candidate, internal stakeholders weren't aligned with hitting externally for the role. So my time was wasted...
I applied online. I interviewed at Twilio in Aug 2020
Interview
I applied online and was contacted by a recruiter about 10 days later.
30 minute phone screen with recruiter was the first step. She was 5 minutes late to our scheduled time and had the enthusiasm of a overworked employee. Did not feel her passion or good vibes for working at Twilio. More like I was her 38th interview of the day and she was tired. Call lasted about 18 minutes before she said she'll recommend me to meet with hiring manager.
Call with hiring manager was done via Zoom. It was good back and forth in terms of his questions and my own. But there were times where he seemed like he lost his train of thought or didn't know where to go next with his questions.
3 days afterwards I received a personal email sharing they are going on with other candidates.
