I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UNC Health (Chapel Hill, NC) in Jun 2014
Interview
two round of interview, first with the recruiter from the HR department. I applied through their website, which means, that the response rate is fairly low, and I had to aggressively follow up with him. Then there is an interview with the food service supervisor, and he goes over very basic questions. I think the hospital standardizes what each position gets asked.

Interview
I applied online to several jobs. I got a call for this position about two weeks after applying. I had a phone interview with a few basic questions, why do I want to work here, describe my last position, what are my career goals. We scheduled the in person interview at the end of the call. I had that at the end of that week. The phone recruiter met me at the hospital and walked me to the managers office. He asked mostly situational questions. He was very hard to read so I couldn’t tell if I was going to get offered the job or not. The interview was about five questions and very brief. I’m very happy to say I received a job offer email today.
