The hiring process at URBN (PA) takes an average of 14 days when considering 1 user submitted interviews across all job titles. Candidates applying for Payroll Specialist had the quickest hiring process (on average 14 days), whereas Payroll Specialist roles had the slowest hiring process (on average 14 days).
I've gone through several interviews for different roles, and sometimes they even go up to 6 rounds. I'm always super qualified but they never go anywhere and always move forward with "another candidate" after stringing you along for up to 2 months. It's the strangest interview process I've been apart of, it's like they never end up hiring anyone.

I applied online. I interviewed at URBN (PA) (Philadelphia, PA) in Jun 2024
Interview
Easy going, everything felt really positive. Design projects are required with no feedback afterward. It feels like a vibe check, a bit, and it seems competitive. Multiple interviews, some months apart.
I did 4 30 minute video interviews with the URBN TA team over ~1 month. It was all coordinated very well with prompt responses between steps and felt overall positive. Their coordinator was truly the star of this process. And then, silence for weeks. I followed up twice to no response. After ~5 weeks, I received an auto rejection thanking me for completing a video interview. While I understand you can’t hire everyone, it is TA’s responsibility to ensure candidates have a good experience in your interview process, regardless of outcome. Ghosting and auto rejecting with an email clearly meant for someone much earlier in process is unacceptable after 4 interviews with senior members of your team. It takes maybe 10 minutes to call someone and give them feedback. If you must send an email, it takes a few minutes to edit the template to be accurate to the candidate’s experience. I would expect a company with the size, scale, and brand recognition that URBN has to do much better.
