I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (Washington, DC) in Jan 2017
Interview
I was screened initially by a recruiter, then was required to take a 2-3 hour exam online. After passing, I had an interview with the Hiring Manager who would be my direct report (I believe). I didn't pass through but I would have to go for an in-person and do a presentation to a team as well.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me to pitch a restaurant as if I was trying to get them to join UberEATS. The Hiring Manager acted as the restaurant owner / manager. It was a standard role play.
3 stage process (made it to stage 2). Round 1 was generic screening and round 2 was panel - Questions in panel were easy and conversational, nothing technical more examples of work and questions about CV - straightforward interviews and clear feedback given when rejected.
The interview process was fine but it was also very difficult. Everyone I spoke to was kind and professional. I enjoyed the experience. In the end I didn't get an offer.

Question 1
Uber's delivery costs have gotten much higher. What can it do to address this problem?
Two interviews and a case study. Everyone was very friendly and the hiring team went out of their day to be helpful and supportive throughout the process. They gave great, honest feedback.
