Interview
A waste of time with a lack of professionality and transparency. After a long back-and-forth of written tasks and testing, in which I've showcased my skills and knowledge. I've been invited for a video interview. Overall it went positively, talking and demonstrating my actions if hired, I've been invited for an in-person meeting at the headquarters. The meeting ended with "I'll be in touch with more info about our meeting tomorrow or the day after at max. If I don't get in touch feel free to write me". A bit of a red flag but ok. 2 days pass but no words on it, so I reach out to the interviewer, no reply. A bit after I write to HR, which later the day told me that the interviewer knew he had to reach out. And then asked me again, for the 3rd time, about my salary. I communicate everything again but no words on the meeting or next steps. From now a week of silence, although I wrote two more emails. Since it was not the only company I have applied to, I needed to understand what was going on in order to move with my future, so I wrote an ultimate email asking for clarification and mentioning I was also in talks for other roles and that I needed to know. In 30 mins I've been dismissed with this: "We have had a very high calibre of producers apply and we have had many difficult decisions to make. I am sorry to say that we will be pursuing other candidates. I do apologise for the disappointing news. It sounds like the discussions with other companies are fruitful and we wish you the best of luck with them." I asked for clarification since THEY invited me for a meeting at the headquarters, which has been ignored and not responded to.
