I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at United Airlines
Interview
Mechanical in nature. Hard to get personal traits accross. Extremely structured panel interview. Did not seem to care much about the person, just qualifications. Only once was i asked about past experience.

Other Sales Manager interview reviews for United Airlines
I applied online and was reached out to by a recruiter. Did a phone screen and then a few Zoom interviews. I thought they all went really all and got really positive feedback. They ended up going with an internal candidate and that was very frustrating.
I got an interview shortly after sending in my resume for the open position. I ended up meeting with the human resourses manager, but never got past the 1st interview. It would have been the hiring manager after that. She seemed nice, I wasn't that interested in the job, but it was a good experience, nothing bad to say about the process. I cant think of anything else to say except it would have been nice to get free flights.

Question 1
Describe a time where you had a challenge selling and how did you overcome it
I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Used to work for this company before the extreme cost cutting measures. Interview was fairly basic and centered around sales knowledge. This was "back in the day" so much may have changed. Be prepared to discuss sales knowledge and negotiating skills in detail. Prepare in advance to figure out how/why a corporation would want to preferentially fly on United and be prepared to work that into a simulated sales pitch.
