The process was very fast!!!!! At least compared to American!!! Apply Assessment Video interview 1 Video interview 2 Face to face in Houston The face to face is very different than described here. Theirs is no one on one interview. The video interview is the last time you’ll have to answer star/situational questions. When u show up to Houston you’re assigned a base. You sit with group. You watch video. A flight attendant joins your group and you introduce yourself. Then she leaves and you mingle with other candidates. Then you go to another room and rank situations from most to least important with a group. 2FA in the room watching you. They don’t say anything and if you’re stuck in a group with dumb people who don’t know emergency situations than I’m sorry but you didn’t get the job lol then you do sit and reach test then FA takes you alone to a room where you REACT to emergency situations. And then you’re taken to another room which is a uniform/cart room and FA just explained more abt FA life/situations. And then you’re done!!’ The whole thing was 4 hours but I will say they were the most relaxed nicest job interviewers I’ve EVER met!!!!!!! Another good thing was the diversity. I looked around the room and 90% of the candidates were POC. Anyways after the uniform room you’re escorted out and the FA said they didn’t give CTO on the spot but I didn’t believe her because there were some people who never came back into the room and I’m assuming they were taken to do drug tests and stuff. Also some girl in the lobby was saying how she got the CTO. I’m not sure if she was lying but I’m guessing they do hand out CTO on the spot 🤔
I applied online. I interviewed at United Airlines (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
It started with the Assessment, followed by 8 video questions, and then the video interview. The in person final interview I am waiting for. They said I would know in 2-5 business days.
