I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines (Houston, TX) in Sept 2015
Interview
Sent them my resume and immediately was sent a Hirevue interview. Was then asked to fly to Houston on their dime for a F2F. There was a brief introduction to the airlines with about 40 canidates. Everyone was very pleasant and welcoming. The only one that didn't look like she wanted to even be there was MY interviewer. She wasn't as cheerful as the others and she seemed very stuck up. Was asked about 5 questions, did a role play and it was over. The very first thing they said in the presentation was "we've heard every answer from Glassdoor and Indeed, don't use them". My suggestion, be yourself and don't answer questions the same as every one on here did. They are looking for originality. Dress extremely professional. Some people in the group wore 5 inch heels, hair down, or up in a messy "I just rolled out of bed" style. Those people were in and out. If you were asked to stay you pretty much landed the job. Everyone else, including myself, was sent home. Honestly, this was a learning experience and I'm glad for it because I just got a job with a different airline. I was not impressed with my interviewer by far. I felt as if she was rushing through the questions and I could not really give my answers the way I'd have liked to. Be prepared with your resume and cover letter.

First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
