I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines (Houston, TX) in Jan 2016
Interview
Interview process fast. F2F own expense other than flight. i made it through both rounds but knew when I didn't get the CJO I didn't get the position. At the airport a pilot said I looked rather young and that might have been an issue (absurd I am over 35 and was extremely professionally dressed). The FA on my flight to my F2F was not at all personable and barely smiled. I did notice that so many FA's were older as I sat in the airport for hours. United is an airline I do not normally fly. I have tons of energy and an extensive and accomplished employment background. The 2nd panel interview recruiters barely spoke the one female did not even smile when I walked and was actually rude. Everyone says for my first FA application I went so far but I was most disappointed in the waste of a lot of time. As well as watching the current employees not be the friendliest. Further pushes me to be in the position of recruiting I am terribly disappointed in the way companies recruit and the example they set themselves. Extremely proud of my accomplishments and the way I dressed and carried myself. Most importantly that I was incredibly sincere about this dramatic career change. In the airport I spoke with pilots and crew from another airline that offered without hesitation to assist me because of my look, my resume, and my personality. I'm not accustomed to failing so I was very upset with this company's swiftness to judge. We were in and out even for those of who made the final round. Total time 3 hours for everything. Unfortunately if that is definitely not enough to determine such a customer important profession. The few I know that got CJO's if they only could have heard their side discussions would have blown their minds. Never again with United.

Interview
First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
It started with the Assessment, followed by 8 video questions, and then the video interview. The in person final interview I am waiting for. They said I would know in 2-5 business days.
