I applied online. I interviewed at Universal Music Group (New York, NY)
Interview
I received a call from HR saying they wanted to learn more about my background and what I was looking to do. They had a few openings in the marketing department that would be a match and he said he'd run my resume past the hiring managers and come back next week. I chased for feedback and never heard back. HR ghosted an experienced, qualified candidate - how unprofessional.

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Universal Music Group (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
The interview process started well, but after three rounds, communication completely broke down. Despite multiple follow-ups over the course of a month, I received no response until I was eventually told to expect the next steps the following week. After following up again, I was once again met with silence.

Interview
The interview process was incredible smooth with great, consistent communication from the recruiter throughout. The interviews also never felt rushed, they felt very natural. I definitely got a clear sense of the team and the role.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Universal Music Group (New York, NY) in Dec 2024
Interview
Initial phone screen with the recruiter who will reveal the budget for the role - the range posted online isn't accurate. Interview with the hiring manager and then the wider team, not super formal questions, mostly about experience and no behavioral Qs. Things with the recruiter moved pretty slow and it wasn't a very transparent process.
