I had 2Y4M xp. I applied through linkedin and got a call. R1- Coding test Hackerearth 1 hour test 3 questions. Q1- check if binary representation of number contains pattern 01 or 10(20marks) Q2-strategic warehouse problem(20 marks) Q3-Largest sub number (50marks) I completed Q1 Q2 and qualified for next round. R2- DS algo round on google meet Q1- Implement deques Q2- Smallest missing positive number in unsorted array. Q3- Least common ancestor for BST. Q4- Least common ancestor for BT. Able to do all and qualified for next round. R3-System design on google meet Q-Workflow management platform: I want to provide a platform to users where they should be able to define a set of tasks as part of a workflow. They should also be able to define the time and frequency when the workflow should run. Features to provide: Tasks could run in parallel or in sequence when successful.  Retry a workflow upon failure. Retry should start from the task which failed. Tasks are able to pass payload to a set of dependent tasks. Scale for 1000 workflows to run at the same time E.g. workflow_interview every 5 mins A -> B -> C -> E               -> D -> F Scope: Database schema Discussion on implementation details I was able to design the system having all the requirements(optional as well) and confirmed for each requirement if the interviewer was satisfied with the solution. I took 1 hour for the complete discussion and implementation. Feedback from panel - I was slow and my xp is not relevant.

Don't get you hopes Up !! I interviewed for SDE2 role in jan 2021. The interviewers were friendly. The process begins with a hackerearth test. The recruiters don't know which questions to ask in screening so they are very typical and hard questions and its all about luck whether you are able to clear the round. First round was DS/algo and standard DS / algo questions were asked. The interviewer was friendly and knowledgeable. 2nd round is design round They ask their domain specific design questions eg how will you build a particular analytics platform etc. The other question was to design LRU cache and LFU cache. 3rd round was said to be cultural fitment round with the director but it was purely technical. Similar design question which was asked in 2nd round was again asked. After this i was told that i have been selected for SDE1 which i was not expecting since I applied for sde 2 role. Also they couldn't meet my expectations with the offer and they seemed too much disinterested in rolling out the offer. Expectations must be clearly set before the process.
