This is a very straightforward interview process with a round of 4 internal interviews, firstly with HR and then Senior Executive Assistants and lastly with Senior Directors which takes around a one month period
I applied online. I interviewed at VMware in Apr 2018
Interview
Interview process was professional and great. Everyone was respectful and kind. The recruiter also was welcoming and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Very organized. I have had many interviews and this one was the best experience.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at VMware (Staines, England) in Sept 2019
Interview
I was approached by the recruitment team in Ireland regarding a role for an Executive Assistant. Initially, the process seemed to run smoothly and I was invited to an interview.
I was told that the interview would be with one of the Directors and two other EA's. However, on the day the Director was no longer available and the interview went ahead with the other support staff. They would then look at holding another interview with the Director, separately. The initial interview went well, however, I was never invited to the interview with the Director despite being told this would be going ahead at a given date.
Communication broke down by this point and the role was given to another individual. Fast forward to the end of the New Year 2019, another role for EA was posted and I showed an interest in that. I was told by the recruitment team that I would be contacted regarding an interview; this never happened. Despite following up I was seemingly ignored.
Not the most effective use of my time and there is seemingly a lack of communication.
