The interviews were conducted over the phone/Skype as I was in the UK, and the company is in Australia. Exploring technical questions to cover the topics required was simple enough. Understanding the markets and specific verticals/customers in the region is more tricky if not familiar with it, but usually able to find some common ground from other sectors already worked in.
Once satisfied that I was a good fit, and they were a suitable opportunity, it's then on to the visa application process and relocation organisation. It is possible to have all this done in under 1 month, which doesn't give you much time to think, so be prepared and ensure you are making the right move before committing to such a big move.
