Interview
I started by taking an online assessment that measured my problem solving skills and math skills. After I passed that test I participated in a 3 hour panel interview that was a "behavioral" interview asking for examples of how I solved issues common to the job I was applying for.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon (Lake Mary, FL) in Dec 2013
Interview
Met an HR person at a networking event. Then applied online. After I applied online, a outsourced recruiter working for Verizon called me and told me to apply for a position. After I applied I was interviewed on the phone. The interviewer did not feel i was a fit for his division and said he was going to "pass my resume around"... That was the end.
