Initially had a very positive initial interview and was invited to view an up and coming hospital. Was received very positively by interviewer and was verbally offered to work a few hours at an established branch to experience a busy shift. I accepted but was shortly ghosted after. I sent a follow up email to confirm which went unanswered. I followed up with an additional email, which I was then told that they had decided to not proceed with my application. My request for feedback has since gone unanswered.
Very odd considering that during multiple discussions, the company would love to have me on board and I would fit in perfectly. Was led to believe that I was being offered a position to then have it rescinded with no reason. Very odd.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about my availability and my ability to cope under pressure.
It was an informal interview, discussing a lot of aspects of vet med and emergency anc critical care. I got to know more about their values and how they want the clinic to grow and what they expect from a vet surgeon.
