Had a first meeting with one of the founder (CTO) over a videocall on march 17th which went well. We introduced each other and agreed to proceed to an in person meeting on march 27th with the other founder (CEO).
I went to meet them in their offices and had to prepare a task for that event - which I took very seriously - and I guess that the worked got noticed such so that I got invited to meet with their main investor, who supported them in people matters so far.
Ultimately, everything went well, we were on the same page and reached an agreement on March 27th, at 10pm (Friday).
Well, they ultimately decided to withdrew their offer on Monday morning based on questionable email miscommunication (these are non business hours by the way and I still made time for them).
Overall, I have had a pleasant time meeting them and their investor and even though I could sense some fear from previous mistakes they made in key hiring, I was not expecting such a lack of ethics from what seemed to be a pretty human-centric business.
Very disappointed from this kind of practice after dedicating almost 5 hour of my time in the process.
