I should have followed the advice of other interviewees.
But I thought let me give it a try anyways. This company is going through some very serious problems both internally and externally. Just google "Vungle Founder". They are not only disorganized but also arrogant (still).
First the recruiter wasn't available for first two weeks. He was new. First time he excused from a phone call due to an "emergency" meeting.
When we finally talked, he couldn't tell me much about the role. He told me that he would hook me up with the hiring manager and have him talk about it directly. The hiring manager asked me 7-8 technical questions.
About a week later he told me that they passed on me. When I asked what was the feedback, he said the experience in "Kafka, spark, etc" was critical. Which by the way, I had. Go figure.
