Washington National Cathedral interview questions

I made it to the final round of the interview process which involved an in person interview lasting several hours meeting with 9 people. I was assured multiple time that I would have an answer by the end of the week but by the next week, had heard nothing. I followed up and was told they were struggling to schedule other interviews and would not be making a decision for another 3 weeks. 3 weeks came and went and I followed up twice more before they finally let me know they had hired someone else.
