Wave Energy Scotland interview questions

Applied online, contacted by email for a face to face interview at Inverness. Although i have requested for interview travel expense re-imbursement, but nothing get paid. A panel interview consisting 3 people. All technical questions and easy to answer. No phone interview and not much information in the website, again a waste of time to find out this is not something to do, and that applied both of us, the company and me. The interviewers looks uninterested. I was told that they will give me feedback on phone, the week after interview, they called me tell that they have selected another candidate who was more closely related to their role. That's my feedback by phone. If you are applying, ask them what would be the requirement for this job, otherwise it may be not be a good idea to waste time and money to find out that this was not good.
