I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wegmans Food Markets (Greece, NY) in Sept 2011
Interview
Applied for work online. Got a call back from store recruiter 3 days after submitting for Full Time overnight. Went through interview with a few ice breakers (QR code on my resume, pointing to my Talent Exchange profile, and a joke about how I worked at the Strong Museum Wegmans exhibit as a kid), and started the interview on a good note. The recruiter gave me an offer, which I accepted. The recruiter emailed a link to the background check information page. Basically, that asked for schools, addresses covering 10 years, convictions, etc. The entire verification process took roughly a week and a half. After following up, I received another link to new hire paperwork (direct deposit, I-9 verification, uniform ordering, etc.) and I was scheduled for orientation.
