Interview
Applied online. Got a phone call within a day to set up a phone interview for the following week. Within a day of that got a call to set up an in person interview.
Phone interview covered the same ground as the online application. It took about a half hour.
In person interview was conducted by two people; one who asked the questions and one who wrote down the answer. These were typical retail management questions. How would you describe your management style? What would you say are your three strongest qualities? How would you handle an employee who is not performing to expectations? This interview lasted 50 minutes.
Was told I would here within 2-3 weeks about next step. Received a generic no thanks e-mail three weeks later.

Describe a time when you failed to complete a task and how did you handle it.
For me this was the most difficult question because I came from a background of you had to get the task done. Even if that meant working crazy hours you got the task done.

I applied online to their Assistant Manager position which was really just a hook for an entry level management position. A few days later I got an email to sign up for a phone screening - pleasant gal reading questions and pausing to type responses. A few days after that I got an email to sign up for a video chat - ran by a monotone duo who didn't come across as Happy, Excited or Dynamic.
They ran through their list of questions, and typed up my responses as I gave them. Pretty straight forward, but completely void of any reciprocated emotional responses on their end. They came across as bored.

They con ducted a phone interview which lasted about 45 minutes. It was not very personal, just someone reading off a list of questions and typing my answers, who then said she would send it to the hiring manager

I applied online and later received an email to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview is reviewing your application and asking a few questions like why you want to work there and PBI questions. The phone interview took 45 mins. I was told I would be contacted in 3-4 weeks either way, but it has been greater than 4 weeks and have not yet received a response.
