Cold, they make you feel like a number and not a person. Every time you answer a question, dead silence. Despite being overqualified (I've worked in customer service for over 10 years!) I have interviewed twice over the phone now with the same bad experience so won't be doing it again.
My interview only lasted 15 minutes with no situational questions so I knew I didn't get it. I said I wasn't available ONE day on the weekend, but that I could work any time on the other day (never had a problem with that before). And that was that. Typical soulless corporation.

Interview
I went through the phone interview first with the recruiter. She asked a lot of standard situational questions. It was difficult to smile and be cheerful through the interview as she was very dry and seemed like she was having a bad day. I was actually really put off to work there after the interview. She said that they would email me in a few days after talking to the hiring manager and sending my information to them. It has been three days and nothing. I'm not sure if it's going to happen and I'm not sure if I want it to.

Interview
questions were things like "Tell me about yourself" and "Do you have retail experience? typical education and interests were asked about, Pretty easy, just asked basic questions like how many hours you can work a week. What type of behavior you have. Asked what type of pay I would like and asked what type of educational background I had.1. Fill out the online application.
2. Follow-up with an inquiry, in-person preferrably. Phone calls are okay but shows a lack of committment in obtaining a job. Be Eager.....show up in person and you might even get an interview.
