I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Whipclip
Interview
I was contacted first by Ellie, their in-house recruiter. She spoke to me for a few minutes to see if I was qualified for the job they were advertising. A couple of days later, I spoke to the VP of Engineering, who seemed like a pretty cool guy. We spoke about what I'd been up to and jumped into the technical interview. The questions were pretty interesting.. Much more UI/UX type questions rather than core functionality/networking ones. I expected the latter. I felt it went really good. Not the best interview I've had, but I didn't think I completely screwed up a question that badly. I didn't end up getting the position and I'm only assuming I didn't because they never contacted me to let me know that. If there's one thing that annoys me about companies is them being inconsiderate enough to not let you know how you did in the interview, even if you didn't meet their expectations. I have since contacted them to at least know why they didn't think I was qualified, but have received no response.
