They usally hire on spot they do not drug test and they pay 15 dollars an hour I don’t recommend doing produce it’s labor . I recommend doing grocery or in store shopper if you have the option
The interview involve questions like what do you want to work at Whole Foods. Also the interviewer asked questions relating to past experiences to get a better understanding of the person. This allows the interviewer to make the best decision.

They'll call you if they're interested and set up a "call interview". After that you'll be called in for a face to face brief interview and set up a orientation. This process is about a month long so be prepared to financially support yourself during the wait.
