I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Whole Foods Market (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2015
Interview
Sent my resume online for a produce team member position at a new store opening close to my apt. No reply so u called the person accepting applications & left a follow up voicemail. Still no reply several days later do I called the Marketing Director. Spoke to him in person, was told to send my resume which he would then forward to the produce team leader. I sent my resume within 5 minutes. That same day, I got an email from the Bakery Team Leader asking to set up a phone interview. After a bit of email communication, she skipped the usual phone interview & asked me to meet her at the job fair being held that weekend. We met,I talked to her for about 10 minutes, then I spoke to the STL (Store Team Leader). She came back after that, said she'd like me to join her team & I accepted the offer.

Interview
I had an interview that was conducted in a highly professional and well-mannered way. The entire process was smooth and organised, with clear communication and respect for time. I would also like to add that this was one of my first ever interviews and felt very relaxed throughout.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Whole Foods Market (San Antonio, TX) in Jul 2021
Interview
I was interviewed by three people, a manager and then two department heads. They asked me about my availability, my experience, and if I thought I could handle the physicality of the job. I was a little annoyed because by the questions they were asking, it seemed like they were deciding for themselves that I wasn't a good fit. They seemed not pleased that I've had 2 jobs in the last five years, which for retail isn't that much. They asked if I'd be interested in a second interview and I said yes. I then got an email about a week and a half later saying they had tried to contact me and hadn't heard back so they were going with other candidates. Nobody called me or emailed me or contacted me in any way. If they didn't think I was qualified, they could have just said so.
