I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Whole Foods Market (Paramus, NJ) in Jan 2016
Interview
I was called for a group interview. There were 30+ of us that were there. We were introduced to the company, its benefits, etc. We all had to introduce ourselves and then we had a few activities where we had to define what exceptional customer service was and we had to make up a commercial based on the company's values. After everything was over, the managers called out the numbers that were asked to stay for the second interview and the other half would get calls later in the week. After splitting the group in half, we were split into the departments we were applying for. The customer service had the most and had to be split up in half once more. Some were to be interviewed that day and the rest on another day during the week. I was one of the people that had to come back another day. When the second interview happened, they didn't ask any questions except confirming my availability and then offering me the position and discussing what their starting pay was. The manager explained to me some of the company's policies, reiterated its benefits and had me sign agreement papers about the type of job I was going to get into. And that was it. She said they would email me a welcoming as well as a background screening and once I agreed and everything is processed, I would start orientation ASAP.
Very simple, basic questions and received the job the next day. They asked me questions regarding company culture and my previous experience working with customer facing positions. I had two people interviewing me.
Very kind interviewer, short interview process with only one interview required. I was hired very quickly which was nice. I interviewer with the manager who was very welcoming and gave me the chance to ask any questions I had about the company as well.

Interview
Very short and straight to the point. Friendly people doing the interviews. Felt great and didn’t get nervous. They tell you the expectations on the spot to see if it’s actually something you’d like to continue with.
