I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Willamette Dental (Richland, WA) in Aug 2018
Interview
First, I had a phone interview with the recruiter that I had been in contact with thanks to an instructor, where the recruiter asked me things about the oral systemic link and how I incorporate that knowledge into treatment planning specific to each patient. Next, an in office interview with the Practice Manager and Lead Hygienist where they asked me the usual questions. Finally, a working interview.

Question 1
How would you treatment plan a patient with chronic systemic disease?
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Willamette Dental (Bellevue, WA)
Interview
The interview process is very lengthy and thoural. The first step is a very long and detailed on line application. The nest step is a phone interview with an administrator at corporate. If it you appear to be a good fit for Willamette Dental group then you go into the hiring clinic and have a formal interview with the manager. If you seem to be a potential good fit then you will be scheduled for one or more working interview. At this time the group gets a sense of how you fit in as well as you get to see how you feel about the group. If the office then wants to hire you the corporate admin will follow up with your references. After all of this is done then a formal employment offer will be extended. This process takes 4 to 6 weeks. Be prepared to be patient and don't give up if you are not selected the first time. Sometimes there are several really qualified applicants. This process is not the fly by night quick employment process of the typical dental office.
