      Implementation Manager Interview

      30 Oct 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Workflow Magic in Sept 2025

      Interview

The interview process took over a month and included two assessments and three separate interviews. The team seemed friendly and genuinely interested at first, but communication quickly broke down. They didn’t honor their stated timelines for follow-up and provided no feedback after all that effort. The assessment itself felt disconnected from real-world work, being handed a list of items to arrange on a monday.com board isn’t a meaningful way to evaluate workflow design skills. Anyone who actually builds systems knows that human context and collaboration are essential. Overall, it felt like a lot of time wasted with little respect for candidates’ efforts or expertise.

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Workflow Magic (New York, NY) in Sept 2025

      Interview

I interviewed in late Sept-late Oct 2025 and overall it was an extensive but positive experience. The process took 1 month from the screening call to receiving a final decision. It involved the following steps: 1. Screening Zoom call with CEO 2. Zoom Interview with Hiring Manager 3. Written Assessment (submitted via email) 4. Technical Assessment & Panel Presentation/Interview I would say the process was generally more difficult/involved than most interview processes I've had, particularly because there was a full written assessment and then a separate full technical assessment with a presentation panel. It's always tough to make it to the final round of an interview process and not get an offer, however, I had a pleasant experience with everyone I spoke to at Workflow Magic. I also appreciated Workflow Magic taking the time to send an email with some high-level feedback on why they went a different direction after the final round, as this seldom happens in this job market.

      Question 1

Good balance of technical monday.com questions and client-facing questions.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Workflow Magic in Aug 2025

      Interview

The process was quite tedious. There were 3 interviews with the last one being a panel and 2 additional extensive assessments which could've been one. However no feedback is provided whatsoever in any of the stages so you're pretty much in the dark during the whole process. No feedback is shared nor things to improve upon. In spite of me taking 3 weeks of my time to complete the whole process, they delayed giving me a response for a whole week until I had to follow-up twice directly with the person in charge of my process to get a half-baked reply with no actual feedback. Just a generic message. Really disappointed in this process and honestly felt like a waste of my time.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

During the panel half of the questions are technical and the other half about your client facing skills.
