I applied online for the position. I received a pre screening call from the recruiter to schedule the first interview. It was made the next day.
Due to the short notice for the interview, I had a tight calendar. We agreed to have the interview at 14:30, the proposal was made for 14:35. Anyway, I accepted.
The call was made by two girls, who arrived a few minutes late. It was a good interview, it went very smoothly. Typical to understand better how the company works and about my professional experience. All was good until the question "where are you living?" I answered my town and they went almost in shock. They said that they haven't noticed where I live and they supposed that I live in Lisbon. Then they started to ask if I am open to moving to this city and I positively answered.
It has been a month since that, I have sent a follow up email asking about any feedback and silence is what I got from them. Ghosting candidates is, for sure, a bad candidate experience.
