- The first stage was non technical phone interview (30 min) - The second stage was very simple Scala program with Basket and Products. First time in my life I spent two nights in order to deliver perfect code with good test coverage, pure functional without mutable states. I was sure that not only it's enough but that I'll gain some points before on-site interview. Unfortunately, my recruiter who was from the agency: Functional Works, said that I failed without giving my ANY feedback. I insisted to receive what was wrong to eliminate any mistakes in the future - couldn't believe it is true - he said that will ask the client. After couple of days I received: "Apparently you did test in Java". I've sent an email to net-a-porter asking if they really received correct files but after 3 weeks still I don't have answer. Major waste of time.
