I interviewed with one of the API-focused teams for a 30-minute hiring manager round. The interview began with questions about my applications to other teams, which had already been discussed with HR, and the mention that candidates may be redirected to other teams felt discouraging before the technical discussion even started. During the discussion, the interviewer appeared dismissive and showed limited interest in understanding the context behind technical decisions (for example, quickly judging latency as “very high” without exploring system constraints). Overall, the interaction felt somewhat one-sided and not very candidate-friendly.

There were 2 stages. The first was a recruiter screen. The second was with a specific team. In the second interview, we discussed projects in the team's pipeline, my experience and how it may lineup, and the current state of frontend technology.

HR will contact you once they shortlisted the resume and give intro regarding position and below interview process. It has 3 coding rounds with medium level leetcode questions in one batch of interviews then 1 system design round and at end director level round.
