Technical Interview -> Discussions
My interview with this company gave me the worst of worst experience anyone will ever have in life. I was done with my technical round where I performed well enough. After that I got a call asking my current salary and expected salary. They assured me a call back once they are done with the internal discussion and evaluation. I waited for few days and then started following up as I saw it turning positive. After few mails and calls I was given a deadline saying "We will wrap things up by this week". I waited patiently till EOW and then called again asking the status of my application. Now, here is what shocked me. They said that they are looking for a Backend developer/ Full stack developer and they need to re-think about the front end role. After wasting 2 weeks of my time this is the worst one could ever hear. If you guys were not clear about the requirements then what was the point of scheduling the interview, asking for salary expectations and provided false hopes? You have no right to play with a job seeker's emotions. I thank the companies who directly say that "You are not a good fit" and close things in a professional manner. However, this firm is totally unprofessional and I will never suggest anyone to step in here.
