I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at emarketing (Germany) (Munich, Bavaria) in Feb 2020
Interview
1st interview (onsite):
There're were several people, including CEO, one developer and a project (or product) manager. We were talking about my previous experience, salary expectation, job responsibilities, what I like or dislike in my profession, etc... Nothing really technical.
2nd interview (remote): There were 2 two developers. The interview process took about 2.5h. It was more about questions, and a bit of coding task with writing tests. I was asked about almost anything in my (and beyond) area, including the most tricky questions I ever got asked.
I got a great positive response. But then, suddenly, got a really poor offer. It was significantly lower than I expected and requested. There was no way to negotiate. I didn't have any reason to accept so poor offer, so I declined it.
I don't know why they wasted their, my recruiter's, and my time knowing my expectations from the very beginning.
