why did you choose 'C'? Did you try python/R ?

yes, I did. But the development was based on embedded platform which needs some kind of memory management and optimization plus the main drivers for serial/wireless communication protocols was written in 'C' , that's why choose it. And regarding python, it's a powerful scripting language especially for accelerating AI development using the open source libraries, but we don't have much time to integrate/customize the API with the main embedded drivers which requires some kind of root access (hint: development was a cloud based)
