I have been working at Vodafone full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Salary, discounts like you cannot believe, freebies, travelling/car paid for.....great atmosphere + the technology, tools and training are also excellent

    Cons

Ridiculous acronyms (which are mostly made up), communication issues internally

    Advice to Management

Split tasks up, instead of juggling 10 projects at the same time...have a couple of weeks/months on each, would help productivity significantly

I have been working at Vodafone full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

I like Vodafone for the opportunities and diversity of projects it provides, most of the colleagues are driven and nice to work with. Newbury campus is good and the regular buses are exceptional to move around form campus to the town

    Cons

Some parts are not so pleasant to work specially those controlled by external vendors like Accenture where there is a lack of transparency and trust

    Advice to Management

I know it’s in progress but we need to get rid of expensive and overpriced consultants that have a different agenda to fulfil other than the best for Vodafone also please align priorities as many projects reach the bottleneck of delivery causing projects to take more time and money to be delivered

I have been working at Vodafone full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I have been at Vodafone for the last 3 months and I have absolutely no regrets joining this incredible company. It is the best decision I have ever made. Not to sound cliche but that is honestly how I feel.

    - You are given responsibility from day one and have the freedom to really push the boundaries in your role.
    - Recognition is the best I have ever experienced. I was willing to do extra duties in my role and take on extra projects I was capable of doing. I was rewarded an October award after only joining the company after 6 weeks and I was over the moon. I have never worked for another company in the past that really appreciates their employees and rewards those who genuinely work really hard.
    - The basic pay is excellent, especially for employees working in London with a generous extra LTA.
    - Benefits are also excellent. Healthcare, dental care, retail discounts, company discounts, smart working, gym membership discounts, and much more.
    - The agile methodology is amazing in the workplace and really does encourage cross collaboration over different departments.
    - Work colleagues you work with have so much to offer. They are genuinely nice people who are friendly, funny, chatty and very approachable. I love the team I am working in and that we are all there for each other through the hard work and those celebratory moments. Again, something I have never across in work before.
    - The management here is brilliant. We have a CEO who really cares about the company of where it is headed and also the employees of Vodafone.

    Cons

Nothing I can think of. :)

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing and maintain the amazing incentive of rewarding employees who work hard.
