I have been working at Vodafone part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Sales driven, great pay and strong bonus. Team is great and half of bonus is dependant on store performance thus encouraging teamwork. Other half of bonus is dependant on personal performance. Targets are manager accordingly and aren't too difficult to achieve. In a full time position of 40 hours a week sales representatives can earn up to 28k; including bonus.

    Cons

Employee discounts have been reduced, discount received on sim only contracts but not on handset contracts. Bonus extremely dependent on customer reviews.

    Advice to Management

Bring back discounts on handset contracts for employees and allow more flexible uniform.

I have been working at Vodafone full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Vodafone is a good company to work for overall. They are paying for a degree in for me to progress through the company. They have regular pay reviews with good opportunities to get an increase in salary.

    Cons

The only problem with Vodafone is internal communication and the handing off of jobs to other people when no one knows if it is them who is supposed to be dealing with it.

    Pros

Great culture and forwards thinking company. Managers and senior staff high quality and obviously are supported well by company training. Typically very qualified colleagues

    Cons

Big company with high complexity. NO COO meaning lack of process clarity

    Advice to Management

Hire COO, invest time in training for change management (for exec managers) update legacy internal processes

I have been working at Vodafone full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent pay structure a d flex working

    Cons

Processes are complex and broken. Too many staff culls, lost a lot of key people in an effort to cut cost base.

    Advice to Management

Remove complexity, invest in fixed capability, buy Virgin Medias UK assets
