I worked at Vodafone full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Opportunities to progress are highly available for those willing to chase them.

    Cons

Strategic decisions sometimes result in the loss of talented people. Opportunities can be limited when working from certain locations unless you can relocate

    Advice to Management

Consider staff an asset in strategic decisions. Find ways to utilise staff where needed instead of turning over staff through redundancy and re-hiring.

I have been working at Vodafone full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Good work/life balance
    Great people
    Good work opportunities
If you get a good manager they are supportive and will help you progress
Plenty of training available to support growth

    Cons

Every year for the last 10 years+ there's redundancies and it never stop
Always cost cutting which does impact quality of service
Not all managers are bothered about their staff

    Advice to Management

The yearly redundancy program (no matter how well its hidden) is unnerving for a lot of staff. It always a feeling of "when" its going to happen not "if". Redundancies are always the easiest option. Maybe try and be a bit more inventive in cost reduction
