The worst in the industry

Pros

Close to my house. Didn't have to deal with a lot of traffic. Sorry I had to put something positive

Cons

The worst in the industry. Deceptive, unprofessional, pedestrian, low class, continually walking a fine line on the legalities of corporate protocol. Will promise you the world and have you quit your current position. After 60-90 days when you have worked every day 9-10 hours a day ( I'm not exaggerating) you will be told out of the blue the you are no longer needed and to please gather your things and leave. You will not be given anything in writing. When applying for unemployment Aviand's will lie and you will get denied. Furthermore Aviand's supports misconduct and makes a habit of hiring individuals with a criminal past to keep wages low. Aviand's is a contract food company for Senior Living Facilities where they can feed on the most vulnerable population

Pros

Paid every week instead of bi-weekly

Cons

Exceedingly high health care premiums. No employer contributions. Unprofessional, poorly trained, second rate upper management. Do not follow through, or comply with state sanitation requirements. When someone in a power position tries to make necessary changes and follow mandated guidelines they are immediately fired. A full time employee in a management position is required to work an average of 60-65 hrs. a week which includes weekends and holidays. This is not discussed during hiring process. You would be better served working 1 if not 2 part time jobs and paying for private health care.

Poor Company

Pros

M-F schedule, weekly pay, great if you like being not valued by your employer

Cons

Before being bought out it was a decent company. New CEO Ron Villani does not care about lower management and daily workers. Talks a good game but never initiated any changes for making the job easier or working conditions better for mgmt/hrly staff we would discuss at group meetings. Cut all support networks from the home office. FSD's now do all HR paperwork, accounting/invoices/financials, as well as day to day management. You are basically an Owner without the benefits or any sort of bonus. Employee moral is very low at most locations. Top heavy salaries for upper management. Benefits are very low for such a big company. Health insurance is terrible.
