My time at ADDATech started out great. As time went on, the culture and atmosphere changed. It shifted especially in the last 6 months... No one seems to be able to pinpoint why... Please note that as a former employee, I am not angry. I replaced this job with a much better one. ADDATech taught me a valuable lesson, self respect is important. There is no sense of organization. There is a constant need to reassign jobs and titles, reassign teams. It might sound at first like they are trying to see what works but in fact, you can’t fix something when you aren’t aware what is not working and ignore what is working. Promoting from within and demoting people that were doing their job and beyond capable (mostly women) is another tactic used at ADDATech. They don't understand the true meaning of experience, the meaning of intelligence. They also don't understand gender equality and inclusion and diversity are laughable.... Upper management (and those that came to believe they are upper management) are disconnected from reality. This is a Quebec based business. The application should be perfectly bilingual and translated. It is not. The employees, and I mean the developers and business analysts, should be perfectly bilingual, they are not. ADDATech is a stepping stone for newly arrived immigrants to Canada who then move on to Ontario or another province for better opportunities. It is their right to do so. The remaining employees are affected. The remaining employees are left to pick up the slack and work AND that is how you have an employee doing the job of 3-4 people. Thee employees don’t realize that a burnout is on the menu. ADDATech rarely fires people. They drain you to the point that you leave. They do fire workers loved by the team though and catch you off guard! They call that reorganization. Sure. Also, this is a great boyz club in case you feel that women are too smart and that you are not appreciated enough, no worries, ADDATech is definitely the place for you. If you were born and raised in Quebec, you deserve better. Regards.
