Pros
ASG allows me to juggle my responsibilities as a work-from-home mother of a toddler, promoting a healthy work-life balance. I've had/have a great experience working at ASG. The Director of Talent Acquisition found me on LinkedIn and offered me a position as a Talent Acquisition Specialist in the Telecom industry, even though it was new. At first, I was hesitant, but Jennifer Bliven and Edgar Acevedo, the TA Supervisor, reassured me that there were extensive training and learning modules to support me. Eight months later, I feel confident and proficient in the Telecom industry. During my time at ASG, I experienced rapid career growth, moving from a Talent Acquisition Specialist to a Recruiter within the first 90 days. The TA Team, renowned for its supportive culture, made me feel welcomed and part of a team from day one. The collective helpfulness and kindness of everyone in the team contribute to a positive work environment that I am proud to be a part of. My current workload at ASG is not only manageable, but it also fosters a stress-free work environment. I am involved in sourcing and recruiting efforts for the Sacramento and southeast markets, providing me with new and diverse learning opportunities daily. I actively seek to expand my knowledge through daily interactions with colleagues, managers, and candidates during the interview process. ASG's commitment to employee well-being is evident in its comprehensive benefits package, which includes various insurance options, such as medical, dental, and pet insurance.
Cons
No Cons at the moment.
Pros
Though I was laid off after brief time with ASG, my time as a Project Manager was nothing but great. From my collegues to executive management. I was given appropriate autonomy with my projects and free to manage with my own style while management was always there in support of roadblocks, questions and overall training and tutelage.
Cons
Nothing more that being caught up in a restructuring.
Pros
Adequate training Communicative team Good culture
Cons
High tempo and ramp up
Pros
Work from home. Good opportunity to gain skills in various areas. Microsoft Visio, Bentley Maps/Micro station, and entry level training for fiber optic networks. No customer service, full dedication to project completion.
Cons
Lots of uncertainty in day to day duties. Entry level position requires lots of miscellaneous work. Must have strong commitment to meet deadlines. Time tracking for miscellaneous work unreasonable. Time tracking system does not accurately account for miscellaneous work which could potentially give bad impression of time management. Accuracy more precise in non-miscellaneous work. Security is too intrusive and provided PC not powerful enough to handle day to day tasks as a result. Beware, company layoff could spawn without warning or regard to skill level.
Pros
good Training, good managing, nice schedule.
Cons
I don't have any cons, overall good company.
Pros
I have been given many opportunities over my time at ASG to grow from an entry-level support staff member to a part of the senior management team. I believe that I've been given an environment to thrive in through the support of my team members, upper management & C-Suite. Our HQ workplace culture is top-notch notch with an especially friendly energy. There are various monthly trainings offered to all employees to sharpen technical & soft skills via Teams meetings and online learnings. The most enjoyable part of my job is getting to work alongside a diverse group of employees across all our departments, and projects & being given the chance to make an impact on the future of the company.
Cons
The hardest part of the job is keeping up with our ever-changing industry and new projects that are coming in.
Pros
Managers are helpful but don't have alot of time to help you. Working from home made it flexible and saved money for commute.
Cons
Pay is terrible, training is rushed, unrealistic expectations for jobs to get done in short amount of time.
Pros
remote work the kpi (work quota) can be easily achieved available training in excel and communication plus the basic training on the job task
Cons
there is no clarity regarding to job advancement pay raise and promotion freeze
