Pros

Job was very easy, and my coworkers were nice. Made some very good, long term friends there. It also wasn’t all work all the time, which was nice.

Cons

No room for growth. A lot of the supervisors would waste time just lounging around and gossiping. They were basically being paid to talk to each other. It wasn’t a good environment.

Pros

They'll hire you fresh out of phlebotomy school with no experience. If you're a strong man this job is probably for you.

Cons

Low pay, low mileage reimburshment, pay for your own gas, no benefits, DANGEROUS people you're drawing blood from. Some are nice others might try to attack you and you have no help because only one nurse on staff. On your own and no room for growth, no raises.

Pros

Job is relatively stable. If you're in desperate need for a job and money and get a call, then I say go for it. They pay you during training and the data entry supervisor is actually really nice and understanding. It'll get you a bullet point on your resume and a little cash. Pay is low for the work, but it becomes mindless busywork after a while. You just have to make sure you are detail-oriented working in data entry.

Cons

HR is awful. They are the worst group of people I have ever encountered. Don't expect extra hours than whatever you came in with. They might just as easily take away hours you were told you'd have during the interview as they give you the job. They are not very understanding about extenuating circumstances (i.e. make sure you provide documentation with each and every call-out). Favorites are played. You are trained by people that have literally only been there for months before you (so your work performance will definitely be subpar). You will need to work with urine and stool if you are in the nighttime shift. It's like high school, the work area; people are flirting, people are bullies, people are really, really mean. No raises. Will ask you to come in early/work extra the day of or a few hours beforehand and if you can't make it, they will hold it against you. They might terminate you just because they can't afford you to hold a position, and they'll make up some random excuse.
