I worked at Admiral Insurance full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Free pretzels and bagels in the morning. - That's it!

    Cons

Extreme favoritism. You only advance if your in the "club." One person is a glorified telephone operator (in the club) making in excess of $100K while other technical, educated and well trained folks (not in club) make under $70K

Hello! This review belongs to another organization. Admiral Insurance Group does not have any UK or Canadian based office locations and is a part of the WR Berkley organization. This has been flagged to Glassdoor.

I have been working at Admiral Insurance

    Pros

Better leaders in place now, innovative, listening to employees, great coworkers

    Cons

Agree with previous post that IT doesn’t listen to their customers, but it is just one manager. Rest of department is great.

I have been working at Admiral Insurance full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

This is a small company and is run like a small company but it is owned by WR Berkley so there is that large company protection. They offer flexible hours, work from home option and hold employee engagement events throughout the year.

    Cons

There is just no growth opportunity here pay is not good. If you are looking for a career filler this is a great place to stop but and learn but you will need to plan an exit strategy after a few years. Company is under new leadership and is finding its way which seems to be a very long unguided process.
