Pros

I can't identify any advantages. This company is the worst.

Cons

Since their split with NNIT, Aeven has seen a decline. There have been no salary increases, growth, or promotions. Despite promoting a "People First" motto, the management's focus seems to be on laying off employees due to high costs. The company undertook a mass hiring initiative to relocate from China to the Philippines with Project Kelvin, which was marketed as "Open and Honest." However, shortly after, they announced the split with NNIT and adopted the "People First" motto, only to begin global layoffs. When I started, overtime and unused leave were paid out, but now, due to cost-cutting measures, there are strict limitations on overtime and a requirement to use 75% of vacation leave annually. Micromanagement is prevalent, yet during Townhall meetings, leadership claims the company is performing exceptionally well. Overall, the company prioritizes business concerns over employee well-being.

Pros

Average Budapest IT salary, average company compensations, nice colleagues.

Cons

Unreliable, untrustworthy, worst company I've ever worked with.. First they promised 3 home office days during hybrid work, then Mr. CEO decided out of nowhere to make it 5.. Then it was "COMPENSATED" to 2 days at home.. I wasn't even 3 months at the company when this decision was made... Their point in general is that they are a "green" company, but then they measure the distance from your home to the office by car... This is important since those who had this distance more than 90 minutes, those were not affected.. Why this matters? Because for some people it still required more than 90-120 minutes to go to the office by public transport.. And then to most REDICILOUS thing... They out of nowhere decided to close the whole office in Budapest, Hungary and layoff 100+ employees DURING ACTIVE HIRING!!!! Someone literally resigned at his job and took Aeven's job offer before they made decision.. He didn't even start, and they are closing the office, so the guy literally lost his job because of Aeven and their promises... And this is just one example from the other poor employees who had only a week or month or so and the company... Just don't ever think about applying here or make any kind of deal with them.. They officially won the "most untrustworthy company" title..

Pros

I don't have anything to write here, truthfully. The cons outweigh the pros

Cons

- Mismanagement and micromanagement - No transition was made when they decided to remove China Operations and transition it to the Philippines - Clear revenue data from the past year but have no plans of an increase - Low salary and no increase within the 1st year despite accomplishments and insisting on doing "evaluation" first which managers didn't initiate with me during my first year - No clear plans for the department. On-the-fly planning especially for Danish colleagues - No career growth. Insisting on using a 20-year-old, hard-coded tool. GDPR is an issue in the Philippines where you are a "system admin" but don't have any capabilities aside from basic read and write privileges. - No longer part of PEZA but they still force you to come into the office - "People-first" mindset but don't show it. - Company was split but still employing the policy of the old company
