Pros

This company operates with blatant disregard for labor rights, masking exploitation under the guise of “discipline.” Potential employees should steer clear, and current staff should consider legal action to protect their rights. Such policies not only violate Pakistani law but also erode trust, morale, and productivity.

Cons

This company operates like a relic from an era where employee rights were non-existent. Below are the glaring red flags: 1. Unpaid Overtime & Wage Theft: You’re forced to arrive 0–20 minutes early and stay late without pay. Managers must clock in 20 minutes before shifts and leave 15 minutes after—all unpaid. This blatantly violates Pakistan’s Payment of Wages Act, 1936. - 0-hour workdays (12 pm–10 pm) likely exceed legal limits. Even with a 40-minute lunch break, this schedule drains physical and mental health. 2. Punitive Wage Deductions: Late by a few minutes? Kiss half your day’s pay goodbye. The company deducts half-day wages for minor delays, which is illegal under Pakistani law. Speak a language other than English? Both the speaker and listener are fined Rs. 500 an unlawful penalty that fosters fear and stifles cultural diversity. 3. Discriminatory Dress Code: Women are restricted to “eastern formals only,” while men have slightly more flexibility. This gender-based policy feels archaic and could violate anti-discrimination norms. Unpaid suspensions for hygiene: Forget a bad hair day? You’ll be sent home without pay for being “un-fresh,” with no warnings or due process. 4. Draconian Device Policies: Phones must be **switched off and kept away** during work hours. If caught with a device, you lose half a day’s pay. Even smartwatches are banned. - The only “emergency contact” allowed is the company’s landline, which is impractical and isolating. 5. Zero Work-Life Balance: You’re limited to **1 day off per month** (or 2 half-days). Forget annual leave, sick days, or emergencies—this policy violates Pakistan’s statutory **14-day annual leave** entitlement. 6. Religious Insensitivity: Prayer breaks require “20 minutes of daily compensation,” penalizing employees for practicing faith. This clashes with **Article 20 of Pakistan’s Constitution**, which guarantees religious freedom. 7. Toxic Monitoring Culture: Biometric systems track your every move. Miss a check-in/out? You’ll lose pay for the entire day. There’s no grace for technical errors or human oversight.
