Pros
What the company is trying to build is first of its kind which is exciting. It's at the cutting edge of a new type of retail meets gaming experience. The CEO is visionary and incredibly smart. The CFO/COO is relentless and focused on building things as quickly as possible. Overall, it's a solid team with some highly creative, thoughtful people. I have a very high degree of autonomy to do what I think is best.
Cons
The Company has struggled to adapt to working in a fully remote, distributed way. Communication struggles if it's not in person in meetings which is difficult with different time zones. There is a lack of feedback or input from many people in the business. Some people want to help build a cohesive team while others are happy to do their bit and check out. It's hard to find the pulse of the culture.
