Pros

Access to audible was cool , but in the words of Good Will Hunting, "an education you coulda got for $1.50 in late fees at the public library."

Cons

Toxic working environment and communication style from management. This very often left me feeling diminished and mentally exhausted. For a feedback company, I feel it's ironic that Review Wave refuses to listen to employee feedback/reviews in order to make improvements. You are losing employees left and right... read the room, make adjustments! - Handle It Inner Circle City - This place felt like a high school, and there was a cool kids club that "could do no wrong". I encourage management, to read the book "Animal Farm", try to see which characters you identify with the most. Speaking of high school, there was once a sales floor rule at Review Wave that went something like this - If your co-worker can't make it to work on time, then everyone on his/her team will start their shift later and end later as well. The theory was that this would teach employees a lesson and help promote team work. Uh.. how about everyone be an adult and make it to work on time? Management will tell you when it is time to stand and make calls, and all of the sudden you’ll realize that the “standing desk” you were excited about during orientation isn’t so cool anymore. My mind and body knows when it’s time to stand and when it’s time to sit. Also, this company loves to gamify things like your salary/hourly-rate. You could get a raise one day, and before you know it be brought back down. This is your employees livelihood, not monopoly. Stop gamifying their lives. They love love love numbers… and I get it, in order to run a successful business you have to be. This constant hunger for numbers had me feeling like, “just a number” myself. Find me this number though: Out of all the (SDR’s) Sales Development Representatives that Review Wave have had over the past few years, how many of those have actually been promoted to an (AE)Account Executive role? Find me that percentage. Now out of those that you have promoted to AE, how many are still there? You know they say one is chance, two is a coincidence, and three is a pattern. Do the math.

Pros

-Option to bring your dog to work -Basic lunch (6/10), Green juices (10/10) -Amazing and caring HR (who BOTH just quit...see the pattern?) -Some great coworkers -Chiropractic care (with a doctor you’d want to continue seeing even after quitting) -Work/life balance (as in no work outside of work, BUT the job takes a toll on your mental health overall) -Good medical insurance

Cons

-Honestly you will feel good for the first few months. I know I did. I felt motivated. Like I was doing something innovative and rewarding. Then reality will set in and the cracks will start to show. It’s a glorified support call center with a cool office and fancy titles. -Burnout. There is a reason turnover rate is so high. I have seen great talent leave because after the first few months, there is no growth and it stops being challenging and rewarding. This is a dead end support job and it’s the new employees leaving good reviews about how fun it is. I honestly was one of them. -Look at the pattern of reviews...they get an influx of honest bad ones from people who've had enough and suddenly there's some damage control good ones right after. Those of us leaving negative ones have no reason to lie. -Extremely low pay compared to similar positions at other companies, with way more work expected of you. -Inexperienced/young leadership that has no idea how to motivate or train. They think because they are not as harsh as the CEO was on them, they are doing you a favor. It's a shame because some are good people, but they are clearly a result of the CEO's type of leadership. -They ask for feedback, feedback is given, they trash on it, then pat themselves on the back for being open to feedback. -Monday Cult Meetings -CEO is extremely arrogant and thinks he is an intellectual life coach, stringing together incoherent motivational quotes as real "lessons". Ends every speech with "make sense?" even though it does not, in fact, make sense. -No sitting when you're on a call -Say they don't micromanage, and then proceed to micromanage you to death with write ups and passive aggressive messages asking if something has been done yet (when you try to explain that you were working on a higher priority, they say no excuses. even though they told you to prioritize.) -Higher level leadership is waiting for a large payout when the company gets sold. This is not a secret and it’s not a bad thing to want to get acquired, but I get the feeling that this explains why they don't care about the wellbeing of employees, they are just maintaining the ship until they sell out. -CEO (and other leadership) cannot accept being wrong. Even if wrong, they will double down on why their reasoning is right. -They say there is room for growth and give examples of people that started entry-level and worked their way up. The problem with that? It is for the favorites and it's already happened. That may have been realistic before but it's not possible anymore. There can only be so many COOs, leads, or specialty positions. Now, they will just shove you into a position that you cannot grow out of. -Benefits not comparable to other tech companies (no remote work, no hybrid option even with rising gas prices, no PTO in the first year, etc)

Pros

Chiropractic Care Lunch/Green Juice Co-workers Dogs in office Apple Computers

Cons

-Pay does not match the amount of work they demand of you. -Write-ups are given out constantly and offer no helpful feedback on how to perform better or correct the issue. -Management is young an inexperienced, if you want to be told what to do by a bunch of kids in their 20s then you should work here. -At one point management was unhappy with the performance of the support team so they took away chairs from everyone, that’s correct, we were not allowed to sit. -Processes never stay the same, everything is constantly changing. -Most of the meetings are completely useless, people scream and chant during the Monday meeting, very cult-like vibes. -Leadership is never on the same page about anything, truly shows how inexperienced they are at running a company -The company is terrible at taking feedback which is ironic based on the fact that they are a feedback company. CEO berated me via text message after reading my honest review on indeed. -Micromanagement is taken to an extreme here, you never really feel like you are trusted to work on your own, first mistake you make you’ll be getting a write up. -No remote work…ever.
