Altria Consulting has an employee rating of 4.0 out of 5 stars, based on 20 company reviews on Glassdoor which indicates that most employees have a good working experience there.
It can be a good working place for someone who starts their career if they play their cards right.
Cons
No one is there to mentor and guide. You are on your own. They hire inexperienced interns and grind them on projects to maximise profits. If you fail to meet expectations PMs and seniors starts to become extremely toxic and use very abusive language. If you are good engineer they will suck the life out of you by overloading you with so many projects even in the weekend. Nothing to gain in here and stay away unless you are really desperate for a job.
The organization provides good learning opportunities, and the collaboration between team members is strong.
Cons
The salary levels are relatively low compared to other IT companies. The career progression is quite structured, with interns moving to trainee roles regardless of performance, followed by a probationary trainee period. Additionally, expectations from senior management are high, which can be challenging for early-career employees.
