Pros

No salary delays. Employers are flexible in negotiating starting salaries.

Cons

The boss (CTO) has the worst leadership. He likes employees who are good at talking without fair evaluation. He also doesn't set goals or vision for the team and the company. He makes unclear requests during lunch, making requests unclear and opaque, which confuses people. So if he doesn't do it, he doesn't think about his own poor leadership and greatly disparages employees' abilities. The middle managers are also people who are cunning and directly point out team members' shortcomings behind the boss's back, and happily badmouth team members behind the boss's back without telling the person in question. So there is no growth for the team. And the company is run in a mess. They don't properly announce the salary freeze, and they don't negotiate a 4-month salary increase at all, but suddenly announce the freeze and postpone the raise for a few months. Also, there are no benefits at all except for meals/dinners, but because the company policy is opaque, the meal/dinner expenses are lowered without notice at the boss's discretion.
