      Pros

      Really chill, management was accommodating of student needs for a period of time but then started enforcing contracts which felt odd as we were paid minimum wage, get to work alone often which is nice

      Cons

      Rules are constantly made up, management can be unprofessional

      Pros

      Encouraging environment for you to learn the nature of the business and the kinds of tasks expected of you. The pay is good for what you are required to do on a daily basis.

      Cons

      It is a business where a significant portion of the tenants are college students so sometimes you may deal with strange requests or strange events in the strange hours of the night.

      A legal nightmare waiting to happen

      Pros

      - The managers are often nice, but insincere. They speak casually with each other, but always interact with staff in a way akin to how the archetypal HR employee at a large corporation would.

      Cons

      - Leasing agents and front desk people are personally liable for negligence, breaking fair housing laws, etc. - Most front desk staff only last a few months, which should concern tenants as Amherst Innovative Living never deactivates former employees access to their Entrata property management suit, allowing former employees to access a tenant's social security number and other personal information at any time. - Management has gossiped with me about other employees that they don't like.
