Pros

- Leaving Anew Receuit in my rear view mirrors and NEVER having to listen to a mooch (Alfredo) discuss things other men have actually accomplished.

Cons

- Working at Anew Recruit will take years off your life and make you a worst person in the long run. - You always have to worry about getting paid on time and correctly. - You will always be lied too, manipulated, and ordered to do everything but what’s needed to make money. - You will have to take pointless calls with the owners boyfriend at odd hours so he can explain why he is in his position and how powerful he is. - You will Be threatened termination at least 2x in your first 60 days of employment. - You will have to use your own money to get job boards with the promise of getting reimbursed. (So True) - No reimbursement was ever given - The worst thing about Anew Recruit is making any kind of money for two evil humans that deserve nothing but themselves.

Pros

Clearly the positive reviews are written by the owners or incentives were offered to write. It is a horrible environment. Best way to find out is to reach out to past employees. Do your research. After several honest, negative reviews were written, the owners went in panic mode, as usual. They ONLY people who think it a healthy environment to work in is them. They create ALL of the problems.

Cons

I would never recommend working here.

Pros

Work from home There are no other Pros. Everything that Liz and Alfredo talk up or put out there as a pro is never followed up on or its changed. There was no End of the Year bonus even though there were company records produced for placements and revenue this year. (2018)

Cons

Work from home but you get calls at all hours of the day and night, including being expected to work all nights and weekends. They even ask and expect you to work on PTO. Last minute ZOOM calls at 7pm on weeknights with less than a day notice. Liz the owner is dating Alfredo even though they will try and hide that when you interview. Alfredo is the co owner and has never been in staffing before, let alone managed a team, or been in any type of leadership or executive position. He has NO IDEA about the industry, how to run a business, how to be a boss and a leader, and is an egotistical narcissist that has not earned his position in the company. He is extremely rude, has no tact, and expects you to bow down to him because he has an executive title. He gives ZERO respect to the employees and expects them to jump immediately when he speaks. He harasses employees nonstop and has fun doing it. Liz likes to promote that Anew is a woman-owned staffing firm and lots of girl power, but she cowers down to Alfredo and has allowed him to completely take over. She has been in the staffing industry for over 20+ years, but allows this man with NO EXPERIENCE to run the company. This has been 100% at the detriment of the company and the employees it did have. Employees have tried to come to her and let her know multiple times how bad it is, and she will not make any changes. Promises that the people who can "deal with it" will be rewarded. No one will make it that long. This company is complete negativity, no transparency, lies, more lies to cover the other lies, and a grind with no reward. Only to get more criticism that you do not do enough. It is always the employees issue of fault--never their own. This company is tanking fast and currently only has 2 employees left. Everyone else has quit or gotten fired for not-so-legal reasons. If all her past employees wanted to come together and file a class action for harassment-- they would 100% have a case. Extreme amounts of turnover because they dont pay employees, vendors, or 3rd parties on time-- if ever. They have gone through 7 accounting firms in one year because Alfredo is too hard to deal with and makes crazy demands. They have gone through multiple other HR consultants and payroll people because they cannot handle Alfredo's demands, or they are doing things that are NOT legal, and Liz buries her head in the sand because she doesnt want to deal with it. They fired one employee because they owed her a bonus and she requested PTO months in advance-- they didnt want to pay her for the PTO or her bonus, so they just fired her-- never paying her the bonus they owed her. Another employee had to get legal action to get the commissions they owed them after they said they would only pay 10% of the thousands they owed. Another employee worked for Anew for over 8 months and never saw one dime of commissions. They put extreme demands on their 3 recruiters, but they are telling clients they have 10-12 recruiters. The expectations are to then perform like 10 recruiters versus 3. Eventually Clients kick them off the list because they dont perform like they promise to. Yet, Liz and Alfredo refuse to actually roll up their sleeves and help out the team they are burning out. They are usually traveling and spending copious amounts of money on hotels, fancy steakhouses, and trips (calling them client meetings--with no clients.) While they cannot pay their bills on time or pay commissions when they are owed. A whole year went by before commission statement reports came out and thats only after employees begged Alfredo for 12 full months. Even then they were not correct. Liz just ignored it. Pretty sure they were skimming off the top of the hourly consultants, and we would have no way of knowing because we never got statements. These people are not above lying, cheating, or stealing-- yet preach Jesus, and being Christians. Both Liz and Alfredo refuse to learn the tools they use and pay for (Bullhorn, LinkedIN Recruiter, Taleo, ADP, Greenhouse) so they make employees do ENDLESS Excel spreadsheets when all reporting can be pulled from those tools. Then after hours and hours of creating and updating those Excels, they never do anything with them. They will not actually lift a finger and do any work themselves to help their struggling team. Do yourself a favor and find a real company to work for so you dont have to be extremely stressed, harassed at all days and hours, and so you dont have to worry if you will get a paycheck or commissions on time. If you are seriously considering working here REACH OUT TO ANY PAST EMPLOYEE. They will tell you exactly what I have said above.
